Why Jesus came
John 9:24-41
Introduction
For the last two weeks, we have been looking at the experience of just one man who met Jesus. He had been blind from birth, which meant that he couldn’t get a job, so he was forced to beg. He was in a completely hopeless situation. But when Jesus saw him, without any invitation from the man himself, Jesus did two things for him. He opened his eyes physically so that he could see and could begin to live a normal life. But, far more importantly, He opened his eyes spiritually so that this man came to see the truth about Jesus.
